The 4th year anniversary celebration continues with this lovely piece by Magdalena Kruszynska!

As a fan of Magdalena, I am so impressed by this illustration! Her girls are so beautiful and this one is no exception. I love the expression on her and this illustration also has a very futuristic vibes (the lines remind me of light sabers)! Not going to lie, I am very touched by the follow message written by her:
“I am so happy to be a part of the Draw A Dot. 4th anniversary project this year. It means really a lot to me and it is a great honor to be among talented illustrators from all over the world. I feel Draw A Dot. is my Family and I believe I am not the only one who feels like that.
Thank you Marcus for everything you do to support illustrators, thank you for believing in me. I still remember the evening I discovered Draw a Dot. Instagram Open Call and I took part in it with one of my first drawings I made. That was the time I decided to change all my personal and professional life. I chose to become illustrator, to create and to quit my job – a director of design for nearly 15 years. I am now happier than ever and that is also thanks to you, Marcus!
My Draw A Dot. anniversary illustration is inspired by Calvin Harris song ft. Rihanna – “This is what you came for”. I was particularly inspired by one sentence taken from the lyrics : … and everybody’s watching her, but she’s looking at you … I feel I know now why I “came for” to this world – it is to draw, this is what brings me happiness. And the girl I created in my illustration is looking at You – to make you take a break for a moment, stop and think what makes you happy in your life and follow your dreams.
Happy Birthday Draw A Dot.!!! Thank you on behalf of all illustrators for discovering so many talents and featuring us on the Draw A Dot. website!”
Stay tuned to see who I have invited to be part of this project next week!
