We have seen a lot of great collections at Paris Fashion Week this season and I am so happy to have Francesco Lo Iacono to illustrate some of his favourites!
It’s always important to have an unique style (whether you are a street style blogger or an illustrator) in order to attract the audience and Monica Ahanonu surely has left me a great impression with her works!

Even though Hedi Slimane has left YSL for more than a month now, a lot of illustrators are still paying tribute to this wonderful era! Today, we have the artworks by Shinn Wen!
On Tuesday I showed you the first part of the special farewell Hedi illustration project and I hope you enoyed the first 8 illustrations. Today, it’s time to show you the 2nd part featuring 7 talented artists.
On April 1st, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) released a statement – Hedi Slimane has exited the fashion house.
Hedi took over the creative director position in 2012 and since then Saint Laurent has become one of hottest brands in the fashion world. From 2012 to 2016, he successfully created a new identity for the brand by adding the rock & roll element to the collections.
March 7, 2016 was the day he ended his YSL era on a high note. The 80’s inspired F/W 2016 collection was a tribute to Yves Henri Donat Mathieu-Saint-Laurent and every look was memorable.
No one knows when Hedi will return to fashion scene as a creative director, but one thing for sure – we will always remember the collections he has created for Yves Saint Laurent. At Draw A Dot., I have invited 15 illustrators to pay tribute to this glorious era.
This is Part 1.
Paris Fashion Week is over and I have seen a lot of great illustrations floating on the web. These 2 illustrations by Tanya Kancheva are 2 of my favourites.
