Curated.Works: Tasting Haute Couture – Valentino S/S 2016 Haute Couture

Aside from fashion, I am also a huge foodie! I remember back in the Marc Jacobs F/W 2016 illustration open call, I came across a submission by Liz Joy, the founder of Inspired to Taste. The reason I found it special was that she created a waffle cake dish that was inspired by one of the outfits! A month later, I decided to approach her and collaborated o this fun project!

In the next few months, Liz is going to create a few dishes that are inspired by the S/S 2016 Haute Couture collections. The first dish I am presenting to you today is inspired by the Valentino collection – Adzuki noodles in tahini sauce, topped with sautéed shiitakes and toasted pine nuts.
