Cassie Lee did some live sketching at the Jack Irving “Quixotic” show!

On February 18, 2022, Cassie Lee joined the Drawing Cabaret Couture crew to watch the Jack Irving show in London. The collection has a lot of pieces with inflatable spikes and they are so fun. I really like the 2 sketches Cassie did for the show. The characters match the aesthetic of the brand!

This is what Cassie has to say about her experience at the Jack Irvin show:

“Wow! That is the first word that comes to mind after experiencing a Jack Irving show. There were so many colours and spikes I’m not sure where or what to look at, and I mean that in the very best way. Being a fashion show novice I don’t have a lot of experience, but I can tell you that this was an unforgettable experience. The show started with a model standing in the middle of the catwalk wearing an already incredible piece, until it starts inflating into a ball of long spikes. The show then continues to provide a visual overload, while techno beats pumped throughout the ballroom. It was over all too soon, and I still felt the beat pumping and energy buzzing as I left the venue. Unfortunately, the room was too packed and I was too absorbed in the looks to produce any decent sketches. Fortunately, I took a lot of photos and videos which I sketched from!” – Cassie Lee
