Biography:
With a background in architecture, painting came as a way of escaping the restrictions and frames architecture imposes to Erli’s creative side. With time, it only widened her understanding of art.
Erli’s illustrations aim to capture the struggle between the detailed realism and love for the art produced during the modern period, while keeping a constant dialogue with the rationality that architecture has taught her. Through her illustrations she invites the viewers into her perception of the subject matter where she leaves room for everyone to experience it in their own way.
