Biography:
Beckie Di Leo is a Toronto-based artist, designer, muralist, and educator. She is the Creative Director of the 6IX Academy, an inner-city social entrepreneurial fashion program.
With a Bachelor of Fine Art from University of Waterloo, Beckie infuses training in figure drawing, painting, and sculpture into mixed-media compositions.
Mid 90’s cafe culture, Brit Pop, NYC club life, street art, magazine editorials, Fashion Television broadcasts, textile design, and Boy George + Kate Moss have influenced her personal style, both on the canvas and in her everyday life.
