During the F/W 2023 Milan Fashion Week, we sent Jamilya Botabayeva to the backstage of the Roberto Cavalli show. Jamilya did some beautiful sketches while she was there.

The sketches captured the energetic vibe of the backstage and the viewers can definitely feel it. Also, the collection was so beautiful and playful.

In my sketches I wanted to transmit the energy of the backstage, strikingly powerful, exciting and vivacious. I was lucky to observe all the looks from Fall 23, meet iconic models and photographers. Growing up as a teenager in the 2000s  Roberto Cavalli was an epitome of bold, sexy, unapologetically seductive woman, and it’s incredible to see the brand evolve yet staying true to its origins.
